PROFESSIONAL WOMAN: COMING SOON is a critique of current society that speaks to a long history of women being denied access to professional spaces and opportunity. It is also a gesture of respect and love to the women who have laboured throughout history and continue to work every day for things to be different. Through the experiences of Professional Woman, a character developed, acted, and directed by Georgia Dawkin, this short film comments on misogyny, sexist and oppressive systems, and microaggressions within different occupational contexts.
