Call for Submissions: 2026 University of Toronto Shelley Peterson Student Art Exhibition
The University of Toronto Shelley Peterson Student Art Exhibition is an annual exhibition celebrating the artistic excellence of undergraduate students enrolled in visual studies programs across the University of Toronto’s three campuses.
Selected artworks will be part of an online showcase published on the Art Museum’s website starting May 19, 2026.
This year’s exhibition is guest curated by Dallas Fellini, Curator of Programs at Art Metropole. Selected submissions will be eligible for three awards adjudicated by Chiedza Pasipanodya, Executive Director at Xpace Cultural Centre.
To apply, fill out the submission form on Google Forms by Friday, February 13, 2026, 11:59pm ET.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible, you must be enrolled full-time at the University of Toronto, have taken at least one studio course in Visual Studies, and not graduate before April 2026.
All kinds of artworks are eligible (painting, drawing, collage, video, performance, digital, ceramics, woodworking, printmaking, songs, etc.). Students can submit a maximum of two works. Please use a different form for each submission.
STUDIO VISITS:
Studio visits are available to discuss your submissions with the guest curator in advance of the deadline. Please sign up at the links below or contact dallas.fellini@alumni.utoronto.ca.
