Trans-Crip Love
Against the medical representation of the disabled body as desexualized, Lorenza did hundreds of drawings and paintings to document her sexual experiences. Ranging from gay and BDSM sexuality to transgender love and influenced by underground comic authors and cartoonists Howard Cruse, Brad Parker and Tom of Finland, these works have a strong narrative and cinematic quality, telling stories of enchantment, passion, shame, jealousy, loss, and grief.
