Golden Years presents a selection of works from the 2007/2008 University of Toronto undergraduate studio art program. Many of the developing artists included speak through their art on important issues, including the spread of militarism into everyday life (Mark Griffin), the function of memory and language in a culture of displacement (Risa Kusumoto), the uses of art and environment to dispel loneliness and anxiety (Annie Tse), environmental destruction and commodification (Jacklin Liu & Nancy Mak), and the tensions between cultural and individual identity (Patrick Misfud & Annie Cheung).
