Sara Hendren’s work, Unknown Armature: Body Socks, will be out of the gallery and in action at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus on Wednesday July 22 and at Trinity Bellwoods Park on Thursday July 23.

The Body Socks are wearable therapeutic tools for people with sensory processing disorders. The sock is a kind of envelope over the wearer’s experience: she can see through the stretchy fabric, but she cannot be seen, and she can be enclosed while also exploring the world.
