Opening Reception: 2026 MVS Studio Art Graduating Exhibitions

A program of:
2026 University of Toronto MVS Studio Art Graduating Exhibitions

Thursday, April 30, 2026
6pm–8pm
Architecture + Design Gallery
Daniels Building, 1 Spadina Crescent

Join the Art Museum, in partnership with the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto, in celebrating the opening of the 2026 MVS Studio Art Graduating Exhibitions!

Be the first to see the graduating projects of students Helio Eudoro, whose works across photography, sculpture, video, painting, installation, and performance employ discarded belongings to reimagine selfhood, queerness, illness, aging, diaspora, and spirituality; Rita Ferrando, who explores worldmaking, collective processes, and desire as a site of transformation through films with both experimental and narrative forms; Pamila Matharu, a visual artist, cultural producer and educator who explores a range of transdisciplinary feminist issues through a multimedia approach that combines object-based art installation, collage, analog and new media art, organizing, social practice, and, more recently, somatics; and Cullen Ritchie, whose work is influenced by experimental cinema and his own infatuation with technological archaeology, as well as, by extension, the preservation of technical histories.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration required.

This exhibition is produced as part of the requirements for the MVS Studio degree in Visual Studies at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, University of Toronto.

We gratefully acknowledge project support from The Valerie Jean Griffiths Student Exhibitions Fund in Memory of William, Elva, and Elizabeth.
