Exhibition Tour with Dr. Deepali Dewan

Dr. Deepali Dewan, Curator, Royal Ontario Museum, will lead a tour of Vision Exchange: Perspectives from India to Canada.

Deepali Dewan is the Dan Mishra Curator of South Asian Art and Culture at the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Artat the University of Toronto and is affiliated with the Centre for South Asian Studies. She is part of the Toronto Photography Seminar, a group of scholars from Ontario institutions who read, produce, and edit collaborative research concerning the history and theory of photography. She is a Senior Associate Fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto and serves on the Editorial Board of the Trans Asian Photography Review. Her research spans issues of colonial, modern and contemporary visual culture, including  topics such as knowledge production, art education, decorative arts and historiography.
