Join us for a rare international showing of Chetna Vora’s OYOYO (1980) to be held in the courtyard of University College.
OYOYO was the graduating project of the late filmmaker, depicting international university students in their dorms located in the former German Democratic Republic. The documentary traces moments of song and dance, intimate conversations, and personal interviews, and is reflective of how diasporic encounters may foster political solidarity in a transnational community.
This event is free and all are welcome.
