A panel talk featuring artist Annie Onyi Cheung and arts writer Minna Lee. The discussion will centre on issues raised in Will Kwan’s work, including economic exchange, cultural appropriation, and displacement.
Annie Onyi Cheung is an emerging Toronto artist, exploring themes of generational and cultural difference through performance, video and installation work. She is a recent graduate in Art History and Visual Art from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Minna Lee is an emerging contemporary arts writer interested in East Asian art history and visual culture. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 2009 with a specialist degree in Fine Art History and a minor in East Asian Studies. She is the resident intern for Canadian Art magazine.
